Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, approved the reform:
"We have done our utmost to resolve the most pressing issues and will continue to do so at the negotiations. We will conduct them with the company every time new fears arise, provided that they are legitimate and do not cancel the planned changes."
Strike of German employees
A vast strike has hit not only the airports, but affected government workers and workers of the service industry. Various establishments, kindergartens and public transport companies suspended their activities. In the Labor Union ‘ver.di’ it was demanded a 6 percent raise of workers’ salary of municipal and state institutions.
Strikes of teachers have stirred up Kentucky and Oklahoma
More than 10,000 teachers filled the streets of the states to achieve raise in salary, and to increase the level of school funding. That day all classes were closed – some due to strike, and the rest for a vacation. Not long ago, those who had been on strike for 9 days demanded a pay rise in West Virginia.
France received complaints about strikes
British Airways, IAG, Iberia, Wizzair, Ryanair and EasyJet Airlines complained simultaneously about France to the European Commission. The reason for it was the strike of the operators, which led to the restriction of flights through the Fifth Republic.
